XMV

Multi-voltage charger for testing, desulphation, and industrial battery recovery.

The XMV series represents the state of the art for service centers, laboratories, and battery regeneration workshops.
Designed as an “all-in-one” system, XMV is a programmable multi-voltage charger capable of managing a battery’s entire life cycle: from the first formation charge to validation tests and battery desulphation for recovering degraded units.

With a range spanning from compact single-phase models to powerful three-phase units, the XMV adapts to every operational need, ensuring maximum precision for any chemistry, whether Lead-acid (vented, AGM, Gel) or Lithium (LFP, NMC, LTO).

Versatility without compromise: Lead and Lithium

The XMV is designed for various applications within the professional battery treatment field:

  • Recovery and desulphation (Lead-acid).
    Acts as a powerful desulphator, using specific charging profiles to break down internal resistance and restore lost capacity. It is the primary tool for recovering sulphated batteries.
  • Balancing and testing (Lithium).
    For lithium technologies, the XMV ensures extremely stable charging with minimal ripple, ideal for cell balancing and BMS recalibration during test cycles.

Portable and stationary models

The XMV series has been engineered to offer maximum ergonomics in the workshop:

  • Portable versions.
    Featuring a robust cabinet mounted on wheels with a control panel oriented toward the operator, these are ideal for moving between workbenches, allowing testing and charging in different locations.
  • Stationary versions.
    Designed for fixed installations in charging rooms or intensive test laboratories, with power up to 36 kW to handle large-capacity battery packs (up to 150 VDC).
  • Power supply.
    Available with single-phase input for low-power models and three-phase for heavy-duty applications.

Advanced functions for battery recovery

The success of a battery recovery intervention depends on the precision of the applied profile.

The XMV offers:

  • Automatic cycling.
    Alternating charge and rest cycles, or charge-discharge cycles when paired with a GEBAT XD discharger in a Battery Cycler configuration (model XD-Combo).
  • Full digital control.
    Constant monitoring of voltage and current to adapt the curve based on the battery’s real-time response.
  • Integrated diagnostics.
    Before starting recovery, the XMV helps identify short-circuited cells or mechanical damage that would make treatment ineffective.
