HPS GSE

GEBAT HPS-GSE is the reinforced variant of the HPS series, specifically designed to operate in contexts where environmental conditions are prohibitive.
Thanks to its structural engineering and IP54 protection rating, the system is optimized for airport airside use (GSE) and all heavy-duty logistics: cold storage, offshore platforms, large vessels, and petrochemical plants.

The system offers native support for lithium batteries, lead-acid batteries, and supercapacitors of all capacities.

Operational efficiency and fast charging

The implementation of fast charging and the concept of opportunity charging has helped elevate productivity standards in the GSE sector and heavy logistics.

The HPS-GSE allows operators to take advantage of short operational breaks to restore the state of charge, ensuring service continuity without scheduled interruptions.

The adoption of high currents and optimized charging profiles provides the following advantages:

    Short charging sessions keep the battery within the optimal charge range for the entire work cycle.

    The battery is never removed from the vehicle, zeroing downtime and risks related to handling heavy loads.

This strategy is particularly effective with lithium technology, which can absorb very high power without chemical degradation, and can also be successfully applied to traditional lead-acid accumulators.

The universal charging station

The HPS-GSE system stands out for its extremely flexible multi-voltage and multi-current design. It can manage accumulators with a voltage range from 0 up to 150 VDC on standard models, and up to 800 VDC upon request.

Digital current management ensures precision regulation from the minimum to the maximum rated value, allowing for complex equalization and cell balancing profiles.

As a universal station, the HPS-GSE allows for the centralized management of heterogeneous fleets. The integrated automatic vehicle recognition system, paired with leading communication protocols, ensures that every battery receives the correct charging profile in total safety.

IGBT-Hybrid technology

The HPS-GSE charger uses high-frequency hybrid conversion technology based on IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors) modules, engineered to guarantee output current stability, unity power factor, and category-leading energy efficiency.

Now in its third generation, the system is designed for 24/7 work cycles at full load.
The IP54 protection ensures operation even in the presence of bad weather, industrial dust, or extreme temperatures.
